THE OBJECTIVE OF THE HCG DIET
The HCG treatment consists of a very low calorie diet in combination with HCG hormone treatments. During the treatment, you regularly take a small amount of HCG into your body daily. This HCG mobilizes body fat which circulates through your body providing energy and preventing hunger. This will make it possible to maintain the diet. HCG helps to burn the “mobile fat” – the fat that is stored around the hips, thighs, belly and upper arms.

Abnormal Fat is the third type of fat which has the potential of providing fuel for the body, but rather than being available for nutritional emergencies, it is locked away in fixed deposits. In studying various weight loss programs, Dr. Simeons found that when patients starved themselves, they first lost their Reserve Fat, and after that the Structural Fat was lost.
In the HCG plan, the “abnormal fat” is mobilized first. That’s the fat that we need to eliminate. Dr Simeons explains these fats and weight loss as follows: “When an overweight patient tries to reduce by starving himself, they will first lose his normal fat reserves. When these are exhausted they begin to burn up structural fat, and only as a last resort will the body yield its abnormal reserves, though by that time the patient usually feels weak, hungry and demotivated.”
How Long Is The Treatment?
The minimum plan consists of taking HCG for 23 days or continuing for 49 days. Phase one kicks off with 2 days of loading, followed by phase 2 The Meal Plan and then phase 3 sees you Stabilising your weight without the use of injections.

What Is HCG And How Does It Work?

Do I Have To Follow A Special Diet?
